CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA — Library lovers, Harry Potter fans, and cosplayers alike gathered beneath the stars on the lawn of the Chantilly Regional Library for a sold-out screening celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Fairfax Library Foundation held its much-anticipated second “Cinema in the Community” event on May 8, 2021, with proceeds, as always, benefitting Fairfax County Public Library. Food trucks from Pakos Fresh Mex, Two Smooth Dudes, and Captain Cookie were on hand, and a mini library fair was held before the main event: Harry Potter projected onto a 40-foot inflatable screen.
Future Cinema in the Community events are planned throughout the year. Subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom this page, or follow Fairfax Library Foundation on social media for updates on upcoming films.
