CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA — The weather was idyllic as nearly 400 wannabe princesses and snowmen gathered on the lawn of the Chantilly Regional Library to sing and dance and laugh—and show their support for Fairfax County Public Library.
Fairfax Library Foundation held the 7th installment of its popular “Cinema in the Community” events this past Saturday, with a free outdoor event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Disney’s animated musical, Frozen. The “sing-along” version of the film was projected onto a towering 40-foot inflatable screen, (the inflation of which was itself a must-see.) Food trucks from Pakos Fresh Mex and Lavish Ice Cream were also on hand.
Although this installment of Cinema in the Community was the only one scheduled for 2023, planning has already begun for 2024.
